free Winrar update

Ok folks, here is what they are saying about Sunday's fiasco:

1. PCA Special Offer Extension

More than 40,000 people were able to receive a free license key for WinRAR 3.51 non upgradeable version.

We were overwhelmed by the response and so were our servers: they had quite some trouble handling all the visitors.If you are one of the people who was not able to get his share of the pie, don't worry, we are working on another solution to extend our special offer to you and all the other people who were unable to take advantage of the offer.

We should have a solution within the next few days. If you know someone who wasn't able to download, please tell them to sign up for our newsletter, as we will be announcing it in the newsletter only.

update 8/5/06:
I hope you did sign up for the newsletter. Yesterday was the second chance to obtain Winrar for free. This time, at least for me, all went well.
